Footgolf - The All Inclusive Fundraiser??

In the current economic climate, finances can be hard to come by in grassroots sport.

The usual methods employed up and down the country which rely on the generosity of spirit and pocket have a tendency to target the same groups of people in the local community multiple times a year in order to keep amateur sports clubs running, which ultimately will see a drop off in revenue as those people get tired of being asked for money, to buy raffle/club lotto tickets, to support racenights etc...

GalacticoSports.ie has teamed up with the Irish Footgolf Association and we are delighted to start helping to make clubs aware of an alternative fund raising mechanism which offers viable revenue streams for clubs while at the same time offering a great day out for ALL club members and supporters alike.

Most clubs are familiar with the concept of a Golf Classic as a fundraiser but the fundamental problem with that is you have to be able to play golf to some degree to be able to take part. This obviously causes problems with respect to the ultimate financial return from the venture for the sports club as well as potentially alienating, albeit unintentionally,  those members of the club who don't play golf from a fun days activities.

With Footgolf those issues are no longer relevant. Footgolf can be played by anyone who can kick a ball off the ground, which given the sports we play in this country, means virtually everyone can play.
